| At work we have dual monitors, and while it's nice for some things, I'm also perfectly happy w/ a smaller laptop. |

Let's hope the Henchman aren't so damn weak this time; I can't get through Iron Horse Mine for the life of me because all the Henchmen are about 6 levels below me and the enemies

I enjoyed Doom 3, but did it really require hiring a professional writer? Does any FPS need one? I don't think it added anything to the game...

TLJ was the first and still the only adventure game I stayed w/ through the end. I'd put it in the Top 5 of the greatest games I've ever played, easily.

What I like most about the Source engine is the clarity of the textures. Even in Quake 4 there are some hilarously bad and pixelated textures.

Didn't Valve mention in the past that the guy who made Compound and Port was working on new maps? Where's the info on that?

Lost Coast runs ok on my system, but there's white dots all over the cliff and red dots in the church. Strange, since DOD:S looks just fine....
It's crashed twoce; once my computer just reboots, and the other time is when I nailed the chopper w/ the rocket launcher, it just froze w/ the sound repeating.....

I think DOD:S should've gotten a beta test similar to CS:S. 4 maps would be nice for that, but as pointed out for a full release that's not gonna cut it. But remember, DOD:S was delayed because of the inclusion of HDR to the source engine, which will be making its way into CS:S later on.

Threewave was all I played for Quake 3, I hope it comes to 4....

This demo refuses to run well. It keeps skipping as I play, no matter how low quality I go. Doom3/HL2/etc runs great, but this won't. 
Athlon64 3000+
128MB 9800 Pro (latest drivers)
1GB RAM
/and where's a Quake 4 demo?
