Of course, Garona is one of the few non-PvP servers that hasn't been taken down. So that may be why you're not seeing them -- Garona is either running on beefier hardware or has a lower populace than the other servers. I won't presume to know which.

Ray and I are both halfway through 54. We have played almost everyday. We are troopers and have played through our problems, which is all you can do in MMO's. The days we haven't played is usually because our server crashed and we decided not to bother to log back in, or Ray was crashing every 15min so it wasn't worth the effort. I think Ray has re-installed WoW 3 or 4 times now to try and fix his problems.

No MMORPG I played had this lag, and the wow beta didnt have this lag either

Just remember that there's always someone who's worse off than you...like me for instance. 2 degrees, 2 previously successful businesses, 1 sucessful outside career and the best I can swing right now for a career is slinging pints and stuff for people.

Having a positive attiude really is mental though. If I gave you a check for 10 million bucks right now, you'd be feeling pretty damn good, wouldn't you? And apart from allieviating some money woes, what would really change? I mean, don't evne think long term, but think of the absolute immediate, you would go from depressed to happy instantly. Even before you deposited the check you'd be smiling and laughing. So if that's the case, why can't you turn on the good vibes yourself? You can! It's really a matter of perspective. As the old Taoist adage says, 'If I worry, will that change the future?' You need to plan, yes, but worry changes nothing except to wear you out.

Ray and I duo every day, everything he has listed is true. Just because you have been one of the fortunate few to not have many problems doesnt mean they don't exist.

You can only look at the book and cinematic DVD so many times, and honestly, not many care about dragging a tiny pet around that does nothing but use up a precious inventory slot.

Then check the rest of the forums. Even though the underlying game is a ton of fun, alot of it is broken and people are getting pissed off.
