Canada’s top carriers roll out identical price hikes in two-month span
It mentions it didn't happen in SK and MB but it didn't elaborate why. In SK we have a crown telco and MB has a former crown (now private) telco competing. It's a good example of how local carriers, even community owned ones, can force the monopolies to compete. Just thought some of our southern neighbours grappling with their own monopoly issues might be interested to know how it's working up here.
I'm sure those price hikes were coinicidence. You know, free monopoly market and all.
