To the first part, I'm well aware it won't be an issue on your end. It won't be an issue on many peoples' ends. But it will be an issue on enough for this to not become mainstream. Will mothers be ok with their kids literally sitting unable to hear or see anything they say? Will kids in college dorms happily make themselves oblivious to what their roommates or floormates are doing around them?

You honestly think the 30 million or whatever Call of Duty players out there are going to happily move over to this?

What's our concern if it is mainstream. I'm looking for something good for myself, fark others. As if $200+ gfx cards are mainstream, but us here have them and there is still a big enough market, good enough. The mom's yes there will be another stigma to overcome, if little Johhny can't play with it so be it. That shouldn't stop me if I want to. College kids... they'd eat it up if it were good, they'll just punch each other in the ribs if attention is needed. But again I don't care about them, I care about myself and those like me, I think there is enough of us for support.

About the COD players, I don't care. They first will have to support this on the PC. If they do, thousands most likely will. You seem to think this has to be a huge hit immediately. Perhaps over many years it will become mainstream. But it doesn't have to be and that is not what I'm arguing. I am arguing there is enough of us to make a market of it, if it is good and your reasons as to why it fails to me are things I can easily adjust to. No seeing K/M, eating, answering wife etc.

You said this would replace flat panel monitors (I think you actually said flat screen, but I know what you meant.)

I'm not arguing that this is a bad product.
I'm arguing that this will never, ever replace flat panel monitors.
That was your claim that I found absurd and that you now seem to be backing away from.
