So they are cheaper for you? I would say just because you're buying a steam product off of Amazon or GMG doesn't mean it doesn't count as cheaper.

I always figured it had something to do with a bulk purchase of keys, either through an arrangement with the publisher or Valve themselves, I couldn't say for sure of course.
