No, wasn't me. But the persistent upgrades and loot is a nice touch and addresses the core issue some people have with rogue-likes. Namely, the fact that you completely lose all progress when you die. Rogue Legacy makes permadeath less painful and ensures you always feel like you're making progress in each playthrough. This does compromise the high stakes nature of permadeath but I think it makes the game more enjoyable in the long-run.
