One other interesting thing about not being able to resell your used games. When the xbox 2 comes out in a few years and of course it will not be backwards compatible with the xbone, all your games you have purchased are locked to the old system. Unless you keep the xbone forevah and hope that it will never break down you have lost all your old games.
On the PC I can still play my games I bought digitally regardless of the CPU I have in my computer today or tomorrow.
So locking games to a system on a console doesn't make as much sense as it does on the PC because of the constantly changing system architecture from one generation to the next. Not really sure how publishers figure this is a great benefit for consumers.
