32 bit processors can address 2^32 bytes of memory, which is 4 Gigabytes.
64 bit processors can address 2^64 bytes of memory, which is 16 Exabytes.

As far as I know applications in 32 bit Windows can address 2GB, maximum is up to 3GB.
On a 64 bit Windows system it's max. 4 GB.
