Corporate tools still think this shit carries weight:
"This person is not a spokesperson for Microsoft, and his personal views do not reflect the customer centric approach we take to our products or how we would communicate directly with our loyal consumers. We are very sorry if this offended anyone, however we have not made any announcements about our product roadmap, and have no further comment on this matter."

The truth is what he said is more personable then this tag line. I bet they have 1000's of support reps that aren't spokespeople for MS and they give out tons of advice and opinions daily. But the corporate machine loves to think they have only one unified voice. There actions speak louder and more accurately then any canned response ever could.
