Ars Technica has a moderately scathing review. Cities are too small, lack of save/restore limits gameplay, traffic simulation sucks as always, bugs galore, upgrading roads destroys surrounding buildings, etc.

That's a pretty damning interview, I'd say. And Ars isn't on the EA-sponsored review list, so I'd trust their review over the majority of all others.

Not that it matters, really. Enough monkeys have pre-ordered this that it's already a success.
