Wrong mate. You cannot add the perks you earned from powerleveling your crafting skills to other skills, unless you've leveled the skill you want to add the perks to. So there's a flaw in that idea.
BTW Creston, shooting a lvl 40 giant with a low lvl archery skill will rocket the skill upward as far as I know. The lower the skill and the higher level the enemy, the faster the skill will level.
