The same day as Sandy Hook, there was crazy guy in China who attacked a preschool. Since he didn't have access to a gun, he used a knife. 20 people injured, but no one died. Certainly we can agree that these things aren't the same and shouldn't be treated equally.

Still its the person choosing to wield a knife or gun who is the problem, not the object itself. Most gun crimes in the US are done with handguns, which aren't fully automatic and don't have high capacity clips.

I'm still trying to figure out how knee jerk bans on things is supposed to be some "solution"
