oh wow! Redwood's 3D news and Stomped... i actually visited those sites more than Blue's way back when those sites were still around in the late 90's!
i hope PlanetQuake and PlanetHalf-Life sticks around. 
it was the help of these indie sites that helped spread the word of awesome mods like Counter-Strike, but i doubt we'll get a mod hit like CS in the future because all these big gaming news sites these days are just promoting triple 'A' titles and about kissing publishers asses, not giving two shits about the little guy. |
