I've never heard of most of these and the ones I have heard of are of such journalistic integrity and competence that I assume the opposite of whatever they say is true.

Considering how easily people will jump on gaming sites for ridiculous conduct and shamelessly pushing opinions as objective fact (deservedly so, in most cases,) I just don't understand why reviews as a concept are trusted so much without any fuss.
