Generally thats the way I play games like that too. Thats how ppl like us get hundreds of hours in those kinda games

I have almost 300 hours put in Skyrim. It's maddening. Somehow I'm also booking progress in real life, otherwise I would've loathed myself for sure.

Games like Skyrim have an interesting attention curve for me, though. Once I finish the main quest.. I'm left with an empty feeling and lack of ambition. Suddenly exploring for the sake of exploring and fun has given way to a sense of a great lack of purpose. Just like that the veil just drops.. and I see the uselessness of it all.
Restarting fresh with a new character, however, gently puts that veil back on. It's so silly.




Favourite games of all time: 1. Severance. 2. Vampire the Masquerade Redemption. 3. can't come up with #3
