It's worse on the Gearbox forums. There's actually people saying you can't judge the game until after the first couple of patches. They convinced themselves A:CM will be great with "a little more polish." It's scary because this kind of thinking is infectious. So what was Gearbox doing the last 7 years? If they couldn't pull it off with multiple year-long delays then what good is a few more weeks and months going to do?
For a short while this will wake up a lot of people. But then the next shiny thing will come along repeating the same old shit and all is forgotten. |
