Not necessarily.It isn't quite that cut and dry. A Windows tablet(ie. Pro not RT) has its advantages like being able to share the same software across devices. Disadvantages being that those legacy apps aren't tailored for touch. For some companies that wants to move forward but doesn't want to reinvent the wheel its a good compromise.
I don't think any one will want a RT over a ipad or android tablet. Corporate and business users focusing on tablets will definitely want the Windows 8 Pro tablets to run their current software not available yet on other platforms. As far as consumers go they probably won't bother with either as it isn't really targeted towards them. |
