I guess in his mind if piracy goes up then that means sales have to go down but I can't remember the last time I looked at a game I wanted to buy and said, "Well let's go see if I can pirate it first..." Assuming the game is priced correctly I'll just pay for it and be on my way.
Pay attention to your sales. That should be what you make decisions based on. This reminds me vaguely of the Quantic Dream tiff over used copies of Heavy Rain which was essentially, "we made a nice profit but it would have been more if not for resellers" which they likened to pirates.
This guy also seems to make a lot of definitive statements with nothing but his personal opinion to back them up. A sign he doesn't exactly think very logically. |
