1badmf wrote on Dec 19, 2012, 16:56: no it's the one about the lost Franklin expedition to the arctic. i've always loved historical dramas, and this was among the best. also, i've always been fascinated by how extreme situations and environments can distill people into the barest truth of who they are, and this book really puts its characters through the (frozen) meat grinder.
i don't remember him writing a vampire novel, but that might've been one of his earlier horror novels that i haven't gotten to yet.
The last 100 or 200 pages of Terror nearly ruined it.
