If you were hoping bioware/ea would do something... well they did... dragon age 2. Feel free to buy the crap EA is pushing out. That kinda thing is the closest we will likely ever see from bioware/ea. Actually, Beamdog has apparently got the rights to Baldur's Gate 3, so if there's enough interest in their BG (and upcoming BG2) remakes, they said they would try to make a BG3.
