It's pretty hard to accurately model this sort of thing, I'm not sure why you're so upset about it. They're using pretty advanced techniques involving satellites as it is. Does it matter if they're 100% bang on if the underlying message is still very important information? People can be concerned about environmental issues without being a member of the earth liberation front. I know a lot of right leaning people who understand that the environment can have very real impact on business concerns too.
