Yeah, but eh, in the end if people want to pay money to him, that's their choice. I like that anyone can put something on KS. I'd hate for it to become a site where popular choice first has to dictate whether you are allowed to Kickstart something or not.
If you don't like it, don't give him any money.
My biggest worry is that he can't make a game for 450K (fuck, he wouldn't be able to make a game for ten times that), so this is going to go down into the dumps like Elite Dangerous will, and put a sour taste in a lot of people's mouths when two high profile projects crash and burn.
And molyneneyeu7euehuhss knows that he can't make this game for 450K, so I have no idea why he's deliberately trying to get people to fund a project that's almost certainly doomed to fail.
