There are a lot of idiots out there and they have bad fucking taste in many different things and corporations chase them for every buck in their wallet.

Idiots with bad taste are the reason that modern horror movies are torture porn or found footage bullshit. Bad music is no longer mocked but openly celebrated in an orgy of advertising campaigns and Call of Duty gets 20 versions while Quake gets a handful. I might not be able to eradicate bad taste but I sure as hell can make fun of it.
