The game sells a ton of copies, regardless of what we think of it or the people paying for it. You can keep arguing that it is a turd, and it may be but it sells a lot more then the games that are not turds. Why?
Probably the same reason why people buy sports games every single year. Except this is the first fps game that does what sports games do and come out every year.
Why not just let it go and stop trying to convince people that are buying this game that it is a turd and move on. People don't seem to make a big deal out of Madden, TigerWoods, Fifa, NHL games coming out every year so I don't see why this is such a big deal with CoD, but the forum seems to lit up like a Christmas Tree when there is a news story about CoD.
Activision does something right in order to sell so many copies of this game every year, just like Apple does something right to sell so many iPads and iPhones every year.
If you don't like it don't buy it.
