Cool, no more tracking down my old discs I guess. Actually that's a bit of a bummer, I was amused last year to discover them and then even more surprised to find they still worked just fine.
BF3 is a really impressive engine technically but I don't think the gameplay holds a candle to the scale of the theater in BF1942. It was awkward as hell, 1942 had the worst control system ever but man there was just so much going on. I loved sub hunting and doing other silly stuff. I keep hoping we'll get some FPS games with decent naval representation again. |
