With the energy prices in Germany a full blown AC that could handle summer heat costs more than all my running costs in a month combined. Also there is the problem that you need to open a window (I live on rent, so I can't just make a wall in the hole.. eh, hole in the wall)
32.4°C inside ;p | And... the temperature of the wooden window frame (in total sun) measured from the inside = 46.8°C Ah. In Los Angeles/LA, CA, USA, it is expensive too. 40 years old central AC is rarely used until the weather is too hot. 
And why the frak is it still about 100F degrees in a few days for L.A. in the middle of October? Ugh! |
