I finally got to watch Prometheus last night. It was enjoyable while I was watching it, but when I started to think about it afterwards, some things really bugged me.
I wish I could have had that reaction, the stuff happening on screen was just frustrating from about the 35 minute point onward right up to the end for me. My girlfriend went on a real "this is why I dont like scifi..." style rant at the end too and for once I couldn't blame her.
Alien wasn't perfect and in many ways it was a product of its time but its incredible that nothing really comes close after 30 years of cinema. |
