My two Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 routers are still going after 7 years and 3 months. I'm running Tomato on them. If I were to get a new one, I would go with another Buffalo router. The new ones come with a custom version of DD-WRT Professional. The two I mentioned in my previous post that I bought and sent back where Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH routers. I considered keeping one as a router/AP. That thing had a lot of built in features it could be sold as an enterprise router. It has all kind of stuff that you can enable like a built in RADIUS server.
