The remake looks good to me. I'm glad that they're willing to make some small changes to update the game to modern expectations and it looks incredibly faithful to the original, so no complaints here. I'd be disappointed if they didn't offer discounts to existing owners on Steam but I unfortunately I imagine what they'll do is a pre-order bonus with the original game and allow it to be giftable.
I don't know whether I'll pick it up immediately - it depends on the price and what the final game looks like. More likely I'll wait for it to go on sale. |
