53. Re: Guild Wars 2 Password Attacks Sep 11, 2012, 08:40 Verno
The point was that you, like many others, portrayed snother feature as if its so awesome. I also called you on it that the skidding and the falling don't look natural at all.

Haha what are you talking about? You were the one bitching about character environment attachment. I was just pointing out that you're incorrect, your character is very "attached" to the environment and they went out of their way to animate that. You've been jumping around, grasping at straws to find something to blame your earlier trolling on. Guess what, WoW doesn't have a realistic falling model either, oh no! There is no skidding at all, you just fall off like a rock! Geez, talk about pointless nitpicking.

What kinda gets me, all in all, is the lack of honest objectivity I experience from people when they talk about the overhyped GW2.

I don't know, you seem to be the one with the attitude problem. You jumped in, took a shit on the thread with some absurd, absolute statements and then got upset when people called you out. There is a difference between a game not having a graphical style that appeals to you and its graphics engine being poor. People made up their own mind and don't agree with you, that doesn't make anyone a fanboy. There are many great games that I just don't care for but I generally don't shit all over them just because they aren't my thing.

As for hype, your expectations are your problem. There has been plenty of discussion about what the game is and isn't, its problems and its successes. If you don't like Guild Wars 2 then don't play it.
