I am not sure I know what is the bigger problem for me...
A) That the legal system has evolved (?) to a point where a company like Rebellion might feel like they are obligated to file this lawsuit to establish that they are indeed protecting their trademark.
B) That Rebellion might actually be able to win....or at least not have the case thrown out on the first day.
Both concepts are equally maddening. What a waste of time and resources. Also, just because no legal bitching is complete without a negative generalization about lawyers, what is it about being a lawyer that makes it so that it would appear as if the day they pass the bar they completely forget that just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Oh right...money. Silly me. |
