| It's hilarious that despite being an utter train wreck at release, Star Wars Galaxies was far more interesting and ambitious than The Old Republic turned out to be. I remember all of the "KOTOR3! Ignore the MMO part!" stuff from people but it was not even remotely a good KOTOR game either. It's sad because Mass Effect was created over Star Wars licensing issues, they later get the license back in some form but just made a very mediocre MMORPG out of it. I think TOR is one of the most straight line, boring games I've played in the MMO arena. There is just no design ambition or soul to the experience. |
