It was pretty damn linear and scripted. It had a little bit of wiggle room, but really only a tiny bit more than MW3. MW3 had almost zero. BioShock had a little bit. HL had less than that.
On consoles, though, MW3 isn't bought primarily for single player, and it offers hands down the best multiplayer experience, if only due to polish and player count (the latter being pretty important, and it seems as if, since CounterStrike, we've moved to where one game eats up all the players. The PC seems to be reversing that a bit.) |
