People seem more dissatisfied with their pricing model than the game itself. It hasn't even been out that long and they're already declaring total failure and shuttering a studio.
There was this, the incredibly neglected GFWL and Age of Empires Online. I'm honestly curious how anyone comes to a different conclusion at this point because I see no evidence of commitment to PC gaming. Making a press release saying that is not the same as actually doing it. They had few PC gaming related projects as it is and just closed one down abruptly. Feel free to point out some recent contributions I've missed though. They're doing a piss-poor job and I question their commitment too, but not because they've canned a rubbish game. I presume people didn't want it because I've never heard of anyone who did; I was the most enthusiastic of anyone I know and I barely cared. It's hardly registered on Bluesnews and a few days ago there was a 3rd party expansion pack announced for MS FSX - not MSF. |
