can't if you remove your hand to flip a cockpit switch etc, reverse effect :D.. The correct answer is that you have to have the stick "low" to floor, so that you can't "rest" your hand on it at all. But the stick has other problems, the cord constantly falls out of the stick, horrible design there.. The drivers are crap, and the centering is also a problem, a lot talk about it.. in my case removing and reinserting the plug recenters the stick... but it has problems beyond this.
The stick also just not comfortable, even with a large hand.. and the hat switches are cheap.. 2 hatswitches on the throttle are unusable, they dont give proper feedback, (false reads) press side, triggers up.. etc..
