Yeah, there are a billion skills per class. And they're all the same. They do damage and/or they apply a status effect. More is not better. Almost none of the skills have any flavor or imagination. None of the class mechanics are interesting. Thief's mechanics are just an additional cooldown. Mesmer's illusions are just an additional meter to stare at, as if staring at your cooldowns wasn't boring enough.
