In what way? It sold 7 million copies.

A significant portion of those sales was the get it for free if you stay with WOW for a year.

I personally believe that this game really sold on reputation more than anything - both the Diablo product and Blizzard itself. They've done a pretty good job of burning both to the ground.

The only game in D3 this point seems to be Blizzard closing a hacker exploit, and than the hackers moving onto the next system, ad naseum.

Unfortunately, for us regular players, those nerfed systems were the game, and now, as others have posted, it's basically turned into a Korean grind fest.
