I would agree, from the idea to the game to the press release this screams mental illness. I am sure there is a real word for it too, but I would have no clue what it is, short of insanity.
Egomania does not go far enough, if you only cared for your own ego you would still not do something so extremely weird and call it a legitimate game. Heck, blue gets Kudos for putting game as "game" ;p Because Molly might call it a game, but we sure as hell would not call it a game. It is a stupid waste of time and money, let others do the work for us and just watch a let's "play" later on with the mystery revealed. There are no mysteries on this planet that could change my life when revealed by a game. And so there is no point to this game.
