Steam really doesn't need any more bloat.. They need to optimise it and make it speedier. I have so many extreme unexplained slow game boots that make me question their ability to add any new features. I'm so tired of deleting my steam folder and having to restart it just to get certain games to start. Yeah, this is the only official solution to some of the issues I've had with it. I haven't touched Dwarf Fortress in 3 years. What's changed? It's hard getting an overview as the dev's blog details things in minute detail without an bigger picture posts.
