Diablo 3 is the exception to the rule in terms of NPD charts, since retail PC games generally don't sell that well in the U.S. Since Steam is by far the largest digital distributor and they refuse to release any figures, we're never going to have enough proof to silence the naysayers.
It doesn't really matter, though. The fact that more and more publishers are showing increased support for the PC says all you need to know about sales. If PC games didn't sell, they wouldn't be getting made. |
