First thing I do when I connect is "Leave Channel". Indeed, and many who are smart do that but it kind of defeats that whole, "Diablo is about multiplayer community so online only fits well" sales pitch blizzard has been pushing.
Yes, I'm sure many people pirated D2/SC but I mostly avoided bnet and played with trusted friends (reallife and online only) via directIP connections or those evil bnet emulators to avoid hackers and more importantly, avoid lag and connect easily with players in Europe/Oz. |
