You do own a very small amount of stock in Blizzard when you purchased Diablo 2 (<- meant for example only). You own your stock, you can trade your stock, you can sell your stock and, as a whole, the customer shareholder decides the fate of any company. By your voice, united with the majority of this shareholder base, can change the direction of a company.
