I was sad to see more robots and stuff in this, as COD has slowly been moving away from actually using skill to shoot someone to just putting down things or activating things that kill people for you. Yeah, but it takes skill to get those things. In MW3 you need 5 linked kills to get a predator missile. If you can't link then 14 unlinked can get you a stealth bomber, if you choose. But the most skilled players go for specialist, which slowly unlocks all the perks/proficiencies for you, so at 8 linked kills you're basically a killing machine. You don't get that 1 kill boost of a missile, 2-4 of a helicopter or even more of some of the higher perks, but if you know what you're doing all of those perks combined will make you far more deadly. If not for specialist I likely would have gotten bored in the game very quickly. |
