Because improving PC gamimg isn't Microsoft goal. Their goal is sell more Xboxes, and every game sold as PC and not Xbox is loss for them. They have to make our experience as miserable as possible, so we would go to promised land and paise them how Xbox Live is so much better than GFWL.
