Alas, they don't. Indeed, wasted opportunities on their part. Look at what Steam has built over the past ten years. Even financial quarter obsessed EA sees the long term opportunities. Microsoft has just been short sighted in building out on their largest established platform. It's not surprising really, they're a big company with a lot of cruft and middle management types.
It's all good, do you want them on your side? I'm not sure I do, seeing what they have done with the Xbox 360 (sold mine last week btw, had barely turned it on all year). |
