He has said that he's going for plain polygons with no textures, as the "style" of the game, so it's fair to criticize that aspect. If he was worried about people criticizing alpha quality screen shots, he wouldn't be posting them online... Personally I'm going to have fun watching this. Maybe not for the same reasons as everyone else, but it will be amusing to see how this plays out. (I don't expect much)
