Then again, almost all of the "consequences" from the choices you made in ME1 were trivial and pointless. They have repeatedly said that basically all those choices are carrying over into the final game, so I would assume so, yeah. For someone who holds Fallout 2's "one word changes in the ending based on which faction you chose" as the pinnacle of choice-and-consequence gaming, you sure seem hung up on the Rachni Queen's messenger bit...
