It's more consistent than any star-wars or star-trek plot that's for sure. I guess I am the only one playing it mainly for the "way" ? I don't really care much how exactly reapers are gonna be going down. I just want to see how the fractured galactic community in ME universe actually gets there. And what Shephards (my) role is in that. I have no doubt the end will be beyond epic, i mean ME1 had a pretty epic end and that was just because of a single choice. Whom to save indeed. I really want to know how ME3 starts with humans leading the council... that must have some big implications to how "easily" we will get help. But I also play ME for Tali + Legion + Garrus And certainly not for Ashley/Kaidan or Liara ^^
