By saying: "Color me crazy, but this guy seems to be the GameDev equivalent to Kim Kardashian, well, minus the porn."
I mean that the guy has been given far more attention than he can handle, and, unfortunately for him, he rubs off as a bit of a pompus ass.
I doubt highly that he is that way in person, but, whomever said he should talk to an image consultant earlier? Yeah, you're dead to rights on that one.

PS: I imagine KK's vid got at least 5 million hits, so they really aren't all THAT far off from each other... He's a guy, a gamer, who made a game that did really well. That's it. He's not a PR crafted celebrity spokesman, he's just a guy who does stuff and says stuff and shouldn't have to change the way he thinks or talks just because he's now got a large fan following. Why? Will society collapse if he doesn't get is act together? Will the impressionable kids start drinking and committing crimes?
With all the celebutards out there basking in the media eye, killing themselves with drugs or alchohol, snorting coke at parties, smoking crack, beating their girlfriends, being vulger, racist, demeaning towards women, perpetuating this terrible, terrible image of what "popular" means...people are going to get bent out of shape because this guy got a little fanboi about Psychonauts and commented about how cool it would be to take his unexpected wealth and helf fund a sequel? Again, missing my point, and instead latching on to my tongue-in-cheek joke in the post-script...
