Well you have a point, the only way to enforce it would be to automate the process of calculating mental maturity to a point where it is gonna be possible to just slap someone a device on the head and get a result.
That's assuming of course, there is such a thing as maturity. I am still doubtful about that as well. If anything its the situations that form the mature thinking and the environment that makes one more grumpy.
That means if we knew what constitutes maturity and what not, we could probably speed up the process and even include the direction process in school education and job training.
Again, not saying it is even possible. I just think.. that the age in years is a silly concept to limit freedom with.... lacking a better alternative right now though |
